Everyone’s needs and objectives are unique. That is why our belief in a tailor-made, personal service lies at the heart of the Curzon Financial Advisers approach.
During our initial consultation we will build a detailed profile of your current financial situation, taking into account your personal income, expenditure, liabilities, assets, existing financial commitments and existing financial products. We will also help you establish your specific financial goals and your attitude to investments and investment risks. We will help you to focus on your priorities, while at the same time helping you to understand how the process works.
We will work with you to develop a bespoke financial plan which best suits your needs, recommending solutions as appropriate to assist you with both your short-term and long-term objectives. Recommendations will be made with a view to optimising your taxation position as far as is possible.
Where a change to existing financial arrangements is indicated, detailed product and fund research is undertaken in-house, using a wide range of analytical tools.
Finally, we provide a comprehensive report detailing our understanding of your circumstances, your financial objectives and attitude to risk, and an analysis of your existing arrangements (if any).
Taking account of all of the above, the report will go on to make detailed recommendations as appropriate in connection with both your existing arrangements and any new financial plans which we may propose. The report will also cover any other matters which we feel you should consider if we feel they are of importance, regardless of why you originally sought our advice.
The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate tax advice.
When we reach the point where you are entirely happy with our proposals, the process of implementing the recommended plan can take place.
As part of our service, we will complete any relevant paperwork for you as far as is possible. This may involve putting in place new arrangements and the transfer, termination or sale of existing arrangements where necessary.
Paperwork will then be submitted to relevant providers and followed up at regular intervals by our staff to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. We do of course keep you informed as matters progress.
We highly recommend reviewing your financial situation on a regular basis as it is very rare for personal financial circumstances to remain the same for long, due to changes in investment conditions, taxation and even legislation, which can have a significant impact on the plans you have made.
We will agree a personal review programme with you which is essential to ensure that your plans stay on track and are in line with your objectives. As a minimum, we will offer you an annual review and portfolio valuation, and no additional charge for general financial queries as they arise.
